It's 10:15 Paris time, and Joe and I haven's slept since Sunday morning,so I'll make this short today. We're in Chamonix, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I'll write more, much more, tomorrow. Big hugs, Jenni and Joe
(I have a couple blogs, and this "about me" description fits the running blog I've created, not the blog for my classes. I don't know how to create different ones for each blog...Ack!)
I've been a runner most of my life. In my college years and into my twenties, it was nothing to gear up for a 10K with little more than a month's training. My thirties were when I thrived as a runner, placing within my age group in a few races, hitting negative splits, and coursing through 30-40 miles a week. I ran my first half-marathon in my forties, a less than stellar performance, but one I take pride in, nonetheless. But for the last year, I have been rather sedentary. I'm hoping this rather public forum will guilt me into being a runner again, or at the very least active.
